Feeling inspired

Today practitioners in our school (and others) were invited to visit a 'sector leading' foundation phase school.

Oh...my...word! sooooo many great ideas, sooooo much to think about and try to do. Al I need is time and money and resources!

I took so many photos, here's just one. A sand tray with added hundreds and thousands and rubber brushes-you couldn't help but play!

I'm baaaaaack!

I've been away for a while...busy with work and Brownies, and enjoying some family time, especially with my gorgeous niece!!!

But this weekend I went on a camping weekend with Girlguiding Cymru leaders for international selection. I didn't know quite what to expect but I wasn't expecting to be a 'slum survivor'!! But a survivor I was....so I bought myself a badge to prove it-the t-shirts were all sold out ;-)

Friday was a nice day for a white wedding (with lots of sweeties!)



It was also the day my beautiful niece was born!!!

Saturday was visiting day!


Sunday dining 'camping style' (ok so we were in the carpark outsidr the house but who cares!)



Monday was back to school




Tuesday the children checked to see who liked butter using the age old method of placing a buttercup under their chin!



Today! I love buying gifts and today this arrived for my auntie's birthday on Monday Ssssh it's a surprise!

Circles

Due to my major lack of drawing skills, I have today been using circles of many sizes to draw animals and their babies. It's surprisingly difficult! I've got owl, butterfly/caterpillar and pig so far! Any other ideas?

Goodbye Poundstretcher

Early hours of this morning the local Poundstretcher store was on fire!! By this afternoon it had started to be pulled down :-(

Went for a day out with the Halfway Up mountain biking boys and girls today. My bike stayed upside down on the floor!! But I did have a nice walk and a sit around the fire :-)

Sweeties.....oh no :-(

When I got home today I had a row of Mr M for leaving the sweet bag out with tablets in. Kids might come in and think there were sweets in there!
Had next doors kids come in??? No! Mr M tried to sneak my sweets only to discover I'd eaten them all....serves him right I say!!
