Do something funny for money

As I wrote yesterday, it was Back to the 80s in work today in aid of Red Nose Day.

After choosing an outfit from my many, I decided to take the rest with me and gladly hired it out to others for the day. I even wore my hair in the actual style I wore in the 80s...ok I was only 4 at the time but it still looks good(ish!)

However fancy dress wasn't enough and it was decided we'd have 'Throw a Pie at the Teachers', and I somehow got roped in!! If I'd known I wouldn't have made such an effort with my look!!!

Hope you've all done something funny for money too. Looking forward to a relaxing night in watching the comedy marathon!

It was acceptable in the 80s

Tomorrow is Comic Relief, and our fancy dress theme for work is 'Back to the 80s'.

FAB! I thought, I can find something for that. This is what I found....




I've discovered I have an unhealthy amount of 80's style clothes....I'm sure I could web find extras from my 'normal' everyday wear :-/

The question is.....Which Madonna shall I be tomorrow?? And before you think it-no I don't have the cone shaped bra!!

Today I failed to get a picture! Nothing exciting in my life or was it just I was too busy-after all I didn't get in til 5.30 again tonight, which is late for me and then straight back out for Brownies. So you'll have to make do with this sorry!

Pedal-a-bike-away

Today Mr M was going on a ride with his mountain biking club, and I decided to join him! The cycle centre in the Forest of Dean has trails to suit all levels -beginners, intermediates and experts.....and for people like me-the family trail :-)

While the majority went up the trail with lots of ups and downs, a few of us stuck to the flat (until we took a wrong turn and had to push up a hill :-/ but coming back down was fun!!)

I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if I had to get up school-day early! But I'm already feeling the ache :-( Don't think my legs will work in the morning!



Don't worry I turned my bike up the right way before I started cycling!!!
